My husband is out of town tonight so I had time to sit down and make a few pincushions. These are so much fun to make and really don't take much time at all.
1st. Find a cute little planter, teacup, etc.
2nd. Stuff with paper and cute a piece of foam to fit snuggly into opening
3rd. Find coordinating fabric and stitch a loose stitch around bottom. Pull tight around foam.
4th. Hot glue into the planter, smoothing fabric as you go.
5th. The best part.....embellish!
You make it sound so easy! Since, I have had the privilege of seeing them in person, I can vouch that they are just soooo stinking cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you. You always know how to brighten my day!
