Think Spring!!

I don't know about everyone else but I can't wait until spring. It seems like it was extra cold this year and the house never felt warm.
I'm looking forward to seeing the hard work that I put in in the fall. I added dozens of tulips around the front magnolia tree surrounding the wood bench. It's the first thing I see when I open my front door.

Glitter Easter Houses

Do you remember the little old cardboard Christmas houses? The ones that had a ton of glitter? They are one of my favorite memories from my childhood. I proudly display some of my Grandmas houses every year at Christmas. Several years ago, a friend of mine and I sat down and created our own version of them. Since then, I have sold them online, at my booth, and at craft shows. One thing that I have noticed over the years is that people either REALLY love them because of the fond memories that they have with them or they just have no interest. I personally just love them.
This Year I decided to make them for Easter. I really love how they turned out.
With my Christmas houses, I tuck them into cabinets, put them under cake domes, and put them on shelves. They look cute no matter where I put them.
Here are few pictures of the first one I made. I will be taking more pictures tomorrow and listing them on my ETSY site. I hope you like them.

I needed a place to store all of the little things that I like to use when I am creating things for my booth, etsy shop, etc. I was tired of running all over the house trying to find things like staples, glue sticks, ribbon, and the like. So, I decided to clean my favorite piece of furniture out. I got this green dresser from a garage sale for $4o. I felt like won the lottery!  I filled all of the drawers full of crafting supplies. It is amazing how much stuff I can fit in here. Now, it is so much easier to find things and clean up when I am finished.

Here is where I keep all of my supplies.

Magnetic Pencil Holder

Brenda and I freshened up our booth today. It always helps to move things around every once in awhile. It spurs more sales for some reason, even though it's the same old stuff.  It looks much better in person. I can't figure out how to photograph it better. The shop has low lighting and the flash creates a glare. If anyone has any helpful tips, I would love to hear them.
